Events in Verona Gardaland
Gardaland park is the most famous and most visited site in Italy, is currently ranked among the top fifteen emotions parks in Europe. According to a ranking of 2009 provided by the Ministry of Culture, Gardaland is the most visited tourist destination in the Veneto and the thirds in Italy. Opened 19 July 1975 by Furini Livio, a merchant of Peschiera del Garda after a visit to Disneyland in California was so impressed that he decided to create something even on the shores of beautiful Lake Garda. Gardaland initially opened with a few attractions, but very original, and had suffered a great success. Success that, over the years, has grown exponentially to the current 3,000,000 visitors per year. Gardaland has been gradually enriched with new attractions (some of the highest level) and new shows, always presenting something new every year at least. At 35 years after the inauguration Gardaland offers dozens of attractions for all tastes, from the quietest to those dedicated to those seeking thrills, all surrounded by a green area full of gardens and flower beds.
